The Knicks Are Back on Track???
Knicks Trade deadline rumors🍀 Giants Sign John Harbaugh🚆 Shawn White in Central Park💥

After some uncharacteristic struggles heading into the new year, the New York Knicks have finally awakened from their one-month stretch of abysmal ball play. The Knicks were 2-9 over 11 games (With notable losses to the Kings, Suns, Sixers and an absolute pummeling by an injured Mavs team) before winning two straight, one of them being the largest margin of victory in team history (+54) against a New York rival, the Brooklyn Nets.
Many New York fans believe that the team will climb their way back to the top of the league standings with the current roster, and others believe it’s time to make some moves at the trade deadline. The pressure is on for the team to turn the tide around at the end of January as the trade deadline is looming. The Knicks will face a the Kings tonight at the Garden to try and continue this newfound momentum.

1. John Harbaugh is a New York Giant!
In a surprising move that sent shockwaves through the NFL, longtime Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh signed a multi-year deal to become the new head coach of the New York Giants. The reported contract spans five years and is valued at around $60 million, making Harbaugh one of the league’s highest-paid coaches. Harbaugh’s arrival signals a massive shift in the Giants’ organizational direction with him set to take over a much more direct role over player personnel decisions. There is much hope within Big Blue Nation, especially with the paring of Harbaugh with quarterback Jaxson Dart, whose blend of mobility and playmaking ability fits perfectly into Harbaugh’s offensive philosophy. |
2. Knicks Should Trade KAT?
As the trade deadline approaches, rumors surrounding Karl-Anthony Towns have started to heat up, sparking debate about whether moving him could be the key to elevating the team to true championship contention. While KAT’s offensive skill set is undeniable, some argue that trading him for a more defense-first superstar such as Jaren Jackson Jr. or even a generational force like Giannis Antetokounmpo could better balance the roster and raise the team’s ceiling on the defensive end, where KAT has majorly struggled. A dominant interior defender could transform the team’s identity, especially in playoff settings where stops matter more than stats. Still, breaking up the core of a team that was 2 games away from the franchises first NBA Championship appearance since 2000 is a risky move, but with Giannis getting more and more frustrated in Milwaukee, who knows if the Knicks will bite the bullet. |
3. Shawn White snowboarding at Central Park
Olympic snowboarding legend Shaun White was spotted ripping makeshift jump lines in Central Park this week, throwing clean flips and drawing a crowd while staying lowkey at first. Once people caught on, he dropped the mask and took time for selfies. |
